Hi, Dan here from vehix411.com
I will show you how to reset the maintenance required light
on a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Oil service light, whatever
you want to call it. It goes on every 7,500 miles,
so when you change your oil, this is what you got to do to reset it.
Over here where the miles are, there’s a little button over here.
Change it to trip A. Once you change it to trip A, you will shut the ignition off.
And then once you shut the ignition off, you will have to push this button and hold it. Once you push and hold it, turn the ignition on, and the maintenance reset will show up over here, and it will clear it. So what I’ll do, I will push this button,
then I’ll put the ignition on, and as you can see, maintenance resetting.
Now it’s complete, so the light is off. All the lights are off. So that’s how you do it.
Change it to trip one, and then push the odometer reset button right here.
Shut the ignition, push that reset button, and then hold it and turn the ignition on.
