How to reset front brake pad wear light, rear brake pad light, brake fluid service, spark plug service, coolant service , and oil service interval reset on BMW 5 series

This video will show you how to reset your service interval for, front  brake pad light, rear brake pad light, brake fluid service, spark plug service, coolant service , and oil service interval .  2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009  BMW  5 SERIES 525, 530, and 540  .

Reset Instructions:

1 Ignition on ( don’t start the car )

2 Go to your turn signal switch and find the check button.

3 Push the check button and look in the instrument penal display until you see the date or clock.

4 Push and hold the reset button on the left side of the instrument panel until the display shows the failed service or service due.

5 Let go of the reset button on the instrument penal.

6 Within 5 sec push the same reset button on the instrument panel and keep on pushing until you see the  service , front  brake pad light, rear brake pad light, brake fluid service, spark plug service, coolant service , and oil service interval  reset . The service thet  is past due will be in red the other thet are in orange and yellow are not due yet.

7  By pushing the reset button you will find the service needed to reset hit the reset button in thet window and hold it.

8 When  the display reads RESET  on the bottom window you let go of the reset button and push it again and hold it until It displays lines and 15000 or what ever service schedule is required for thet service and thet display will turn into orange color.

9 Just turn off the ignition and that’s how you reset your service on BMW 5 SERIES.
