Without fixing this problem, your airbags will not deploy. Once the Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor is broken and the light is on, the Passenger airbag is  disabled and useless. How to bypass BMW Passenger Seat Occupancy Mat sensor for passenger Airbag.

1 Buy  2   100 ohms 1/4 watt resistors .

2 Buy  1   1N400 Micromini  Silicon Diode .

3 Solder the Diode and 2 resistors together as seen in video.

4 Cut the plug that comes from the occupancy seat computer to the seat sensor.

5 Find the gray mark on the Diode and solder it on blue wire and the other side to white wire .

6 Plug it in the computer under the seat and reset the airbag light.

7 That should make your passenger airbag active.
