Posted in Body, Chassis, Engine+Transmission by Dan

This video will show you how to fix or repair the speedometer on 1996 , 1997 , 1998 , 1999 , 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback . If your car is not showing the millage of how fast you are going or sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Remove your speedometer flip it to the back side you will see a blue connector housing , get a small screw.  Screw it in the corner of the gap between the connector and circuit board housing as seen in the video , by the way in the video i said your other choice is to repair i meant replace the speedometer my mistake lol ok   make shore its not touching the circuit board or you will fry your speedometer. Install the speedometer and test drive the car.

Watch a part 1 on how to test or diagnose if your speedometer is bad.
