This video will show you how to diagnose the airbag air bag light on Nissan cars and Infinity vehicle.

Airbag light flashing diagnose instructions .

1 Turn on ignition ( don’t start the car )

2 As soon as the airbag light turns off ( about 7 sec )

3 Turn off the ignition and turn it back on ( with in 1 sec )

4 Repeat the step 3 four to five times.

5 On the 5th time leave the ignition on .

6 The airbag light will turn off and start flashing.

7 The slow flashes are the first number and the fast flashes are the second number.

8 Example if airbag light flashes 1 time slow and 2 times fast that’s code 12 ( as seen in the video )

Diagnose instructions.

1 Find the OBD connector ( on board diagnostic connector ) located on the left side under the dash.

2 Find the number 4 and number 9 pins you can read it on the plug .

3 Pin number 9 is a brown wire and pin 4 is a black wire make sure you have the right pins and wire colors or you will burn a fuse or short something in the car.

4 Get a paper clip and jump the #4 and #9 pins together .

5 Turn on the ignition and the Airbag , ABS , engine lights will blink .

6 Count the blinks .

7 Example if the light blinks slow 5 times and fast 1 time its code 51. (as seen in video )

Step 1 put the ignition on ( don’t start the car )

Step 2 start counting how many times the airbag light blinks the first digit blinks fast and than stops the second digit blinks slow see video. Example if the light blinks fast 4 times and stops than blinks 2 times slow the code will be 42 .

This video will show you how to reset the airbag (air bag ) light without a scanner on 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997,1998, 1999 nissan altima.

Airbag reset instructions :

1 Sit in the drivers seat and leave the drivers door open.

2 Find the door switch on the lower post.

3 Turn ignition on and cheak the airbag light if its bleanking ( if its always on it could be ckt or bad airbag unit need to repair it )

4 If airbag light bleenking turn ignition off and put it back on .

5 Push the door switch 5 times within 8 sec .

6 The airbag light should be off turn ignition off and on the light should come on for about 7 sec and turn off.
