BMW KEY programming instructions.

Step 1 Get in the car and close all the doors.

Step 2 Put the key in ignition and turn to ign on ( don’t start the car )

Step 3 As soon as you turn ignition on turn it off and get the key out.

Step 4 Push unlock on remote ( up arrow on the key ) and hold it.

Step 5 While holding the up arrow push lock 3 times ( the BMW logo on key )

Step 6 The car will lock and unlock to confirm programing of the keyless entry ( remote control )

Thats how you program the BMW keyless entry remote control.

BMW KEY programming should be done when

Programing  needs to be done when you replace your body control module ( BCM , or General Module )

When your car battery dies also you need to reprogram the key ( sometimes )

Bad key remote.
